The Affiliate acts independently and at their own cost.
4.WHO MAY PARTICIPATE
An Affiliate may be:

VitaTale may require verification through a one-time code or another secure method.
7.AFFILIATE CODES
VitaTale may issue one or more affiliate codes.
Current technical limit: up to five active codes per approved Affiliate unless the product states otherwise.
Codes:
- are validated by VitaTale;
- may be disabled;
- do not become the Affiliate's trademark;
- do not grant a right to register VitaTale in a domain or company name.
8.AFFILIATE LINKS
The Affiliate receives a link connected to an approved code.
VitaTale may retain attribution information for a limited period in order to:
- preserve an applicable discount;
- identify the qualifying referral;
- avoid incorrect commission allocation.
Current attribution continuity: up to 30 days.
9.ATTRIBUTION RULE
The following attribution rule applies:
an affiliate code entered explicitly at checkout takes priority; otherwise the current valid code saved from an affiliate link for up to 30 days applies
10.CUSTOMER DISCOUNT
Current discount: 10%
If the existing launch model is retained, this is 10%.
The discount:
- is calculated by VitaTale;
- is not chosen by the Affiliate;
- applies only where the Program conditions are satisfied;
- is not applied retrospectively to an already paid order;
- may not combine with other promotions.
11.AFFILIATE COMMISSION
Current commission rate: 10%
If the existing launch model is retained, this is 10%.
12.COMMISSION BASE
Unless stated otherwise, commission is calculated on the actually paid product and service subtotal of the initial qualifying order after the affiliate discount.
The commission base excludes:
- tax;
- delivery;
- carrier fees;
- refunded amounts;
- amounts VitaTale did not actually receive.
13.INITIAL ORDER ONLY
Under the current model, commission is earned only on the initial qualifying order.
Later purchases such as:
- plan upgrades;
- additional copies;
- additional storyteller seats
do not generate new commission unless a future Program version expressly says otherwise.
14.WHEN COMMISSION IS CREATED
Commission is not created when:
- a user merely clicks a link;
- ordering begins;
- an unpaid order is created;
- a payment fails.
Commission is created only after reliable confirmation of a successful qualifying payment.
15.SELF-REFERRAL
An Affiliate may not earn commission on their own purchase.
Circumvention may include:
- using another personal email address;
- using a controlled person;
- creating a sham buyer;

The following are prohibited:
- orders without genuine purchase intent;
- use of stolen payment instruments;
- coordinated fake purchases;
- artificial refund-and-repurchase patterns designed to manipulate commission.
